Add your drivers
Add each driver with their mobile number and issue a six-digit PIN. They sign in on their own phone’s browser. There is nothing to install and no tracker to fit.

Book the delivery and send the link
Create the delivery in the dashboard, or from your own system through the API. Your customer gets a private tracking link by email if you have their address, or you paste a ready-made message into WhatsApp or SMS.

Deliver with proof
Your driver completes the handover with photos, a signature, the recipient’s name or a delivery code, as your rules require. You get a PDF and a full audit trail for every drop.

An arrival time is worked out when the delivery starts and shown to the customer and your dispatcher. If it moves by more than ten minutes, the customer sees the new time.

Get an HTTPS POST when a delivery is created, assigned, started, delivered or fails, signed with HMAC-SHA256 so you can verify it came from us.

What is Track That Ride?
Track That Ride is delivery tracking software for courier firms. Your drivers use a web app on their phones, your customers follow each delivery on a private live tracking link, and you keep proof of every handover: photos, signatures, recipient names, GPS position and time.
Do my drivers need to install an app or fit a GPS tracker?
No. Drivers open the driver web app in their phone’s browser and sign in with their mobile number and a PIN you give them. The phone’s own GPS provides the live position, so there is no hardware to buy or fit.
What does my customer see?
A private web page for their delivery: the driver on a map, the arrival time, and updates such as “Your parcel is on the way” and “Your driver has arrived”. It hides phone numbers, email addresses and internal notes, and stops working seven days after the delivery ends.
How do customers receive the tracking link?
If the delivery has the customer’s email address, the link is emailed when the delivery is booked. You can also copy a ready-made message with the link and paste it into WhatsApp, SMS or your own email. Track That Ride does not send SMS or WhatsApp messages itself.
What proof of delivery can drivers capture?
Photos (you set the minimum, up to five), an on-screen signature, the recipient’s name and relationship, a one-time delivery code from the recipient, and the GPS position and time of the handover. You choose which are required, and can download each delivery as a PDF.
How much does it cost?
The Free plan has no monthly fee: you pay £0.40 per delivery from a prepaid balance. Paid plans include a monthly allowance of deliveries. See the pricing page for every plan in pounds, dollars or euros.
Can I connect Track That Ride to my own system?
Yes. There is a REST API to create and manage deliveries, signed webhooks for status changes, and a real-time stream of driver positions. The developer hub has copy-and-paste examples for Node.js and the browser.
Does using Track That Ride make my deliveries compliant with medical or legal rules?
No software can do that on its own. Track That Ride helps you keep a timestamped record of each handover. What you must record, and how you must transport the item, depends on the regulations that apply to you, so check them with the relevant regulator or professional body.
